Two schools in Hisar have been issued show cause notices by the Haryana Education Department for being open despite the orders of the state government declaring winter vacations upto January 16 in all the government and private schools due to extreme cold conditions prevailing in the state.
Stating this here today, a spokesman for the Education Department said that a team of the officers of Haryana Education Department, Hisar led by District Education Officer Asha Grover today conducted surprise checking in the schools and found Thakur Bhargav Dass Model Senior Secondary School, Rajgarh road Hisar and Lahoria Senior Secondary School, Lahoria Chowk, Hisar open.
Strict action would be taken against the schools found open upto January 16 in violation of these orders, he added.
