Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi is set to build a new campus in Haryana.
Haryana government has sanctioned 100 acres of land to the institute.
Officials from IIT Delhi reveal that the land will be used to extend the current campus once the permission from Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) is obtained.
The new campus will be primarily used to set up research labs. It would not conduct B Tech courses. The present campus of 300 acres has little space left for further facilities for research and entrepreneurship development programmes.
