The Academic Council of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi, in the 56th Meeting, which was held on May 27, 2011 has given its approval for the following:
a) As a one time measure, the old students of BED Programme who belongs to the 1999 and 2000 batches and the students from later batches, who missed the opportunity of Re-admission in left-over Course of BED, can avail Re-admission from July 2011 to January 2013 Cycles (Last TEE will be June 2013) after paying Pro-rata Fee @ Rs 1600 per Course.
b) Those students of BEd who could not complete the programme during the maximum available period even after re-admission, shall not be eligible for re-admission. They are required to seek a fresh admission as per the laid norms for a new applicant (appear in entrance exam and get merit position as per available number of seats). After completion of admissions as a fresh student, he/she will be permitted to apply for Credit Transfer from the old enrolment @ Rs 100 per completed course.
