Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) - Delhi, Bombay, Hyderabad, Bhuaneswar, Gandhinagar, Indore, Kanpur, Guwahati, Kharagpur, Mandi, Patna, Madras, Roorkee, IT-BHU Varansi, IIT Ropar, and ISM – Dhanabad invites applications from students for taking admission in Engineering, Technological and Scientific disciplines Bachelor Degree Courses.

Important Dates of IIT-JEE 2012: -

• Online Application Starts from :- 31st October, 2011
• Last Date of Online Application :- 10th December, 2011
• Offline OMR Application Forms sale start though Bank Branches on :- 11th November, 2011
• Last Date of OMR Application Form sale :- 05th December, 2011
• Last Date of Offline Application Submission :- 15th December, 2011
• JEE - 2012 Examination Date :- 08th April, 2012 (Sunday)

Eligibility Conditions for IIT-JEE-2012 :-

• Educational Qualification :- 10+2 Passed from any recognized Board/University OR A Diploma recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education of at least 3 year duration OR H.S.C. vocational examination. Applicants must have secure 60% (55% for SC/ST/PH) marks in the above said examinations.

Age Limit :- Candidate must be born on or after 1st October, 1987. 5 years relaxation in age for SC/ST/PH(PD) candidates.

Subjects for paper in IIT - JEE 2012 :-

1. Physics
2. Chemistry
3. Mathematics
4. Aptitude Test :- Freehand drawing, Geometrical drawing, Three-dimensional perception, Imagination and aesthetic sensitivity, Architectural awareness.

How to Apply for Joint Entrance Examination 2012 :-

• Online Application process will start on 31st October, 2011. Candidates can apply Online through the given link - http://www.iitg.ac.in/jee/
• Offline Application :- Candidates willing to apply Offline can buy OMR Application Form by paying category wise fee from the below listed Banks -

1. Canara Bank Branches for IIT Bombay Zone
2. Union Bank of India Branches for IIT Delhi Zone
3. State Bank of India Branches for IIT Guwahati Zone
4. State Bank of India Branches for IIT Kanpur Zone
5. Axis Bank Branches for IIT Kharagpur Zone
6. Indian Bank Branches for IIT Madras Zone
7. Punjab National Bank Branches for IIT Roorkee Zone

OMR Application form cost :- Rs. 1,800/- for Gen/OBC Male Candidates, Rs. 1,000/- for SC/ST/PH Candidates and Rs. 200/- for All Female candidates.

IIT-JEE 2012 Admit Card :- JEE office will send all valid applicants Admit Card by Speed Post before 15th March 2012. No Duplicate Admit Cards will be issued to any candidate.
