One-week orientation course for school teachers on “Geoinformatics and its Applications”

HARSAC is organizing a One-week orientation course for school teachers on “Geoinformatics and its applications” from November 14-18, 2011. During this programme participants will be apprised of the fundamentals and various applications of Space Technology along with hands on training on the use of satellite data. There are approximately 30 seats under the course. Junior Lecturers/Teachers of Science /Geography subjects who have not attended this course in the last three years are eligible to attend the course. T.A. & D.A. will be paid as per Haryana Govt. rules by HARSAC.

Teachers may send their names duly forwarded through the District Education Officer latest by November 04, 2011 by post or through mail at vsarya@harsac.org . List of the selected teachers will be displayed at the HARSAC website on 09.11.2011. HARSAC may try to arrange for the accommodation in CCS HAU Farmer’s Hostel but it will depend upon the availability of rooms. In case of non-availability of accommodation, trainees have to make their own arrangements. The teachers should report at HARSAC at 9.30 am sharp on 14.11.2011 to register themselves for the course.
