Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) 2012 to be conducted by Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh on 8th January 2012 in all 23 Districts of the State. TET is a mandatory examination for the candidates aspiring to become teachers in primary and high schools for various subjects. APTET 2012 will be conducted on 8th January 2012.
Fee Payment Dates :- Start Date : 31st October, 2011 and End Date : 25th November, 2011
Exam Date of APTET 2012 (January) :- 08th January, 2012 (Sunday)
APTET is applicable for all candidates who possess D.Ed., B.Ed. and Language Pandit or its equivalent qualifications. Candidates who had appeared in the previous APTET 2011 held on 31st July, 2011 can also apply for APTET 2012 (January).
Educational Qualification :-
§ For Class I to V :- 10+2 Passed or its equivalent with 50% (45%) marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementry Education OR 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
§ For Class VI-VIII :- Bachelor Degree (B.A.. B.Sc., B.Com) and 2 year Diploma in Elementry Education OR Bachelor Degree (B.A.. B.Sc., B.Com) with 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR Bachelor Degree (B.A.. B.Sc., B.Com) with 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed (Special Education) OR 10+2 Passed or its equivalent with 50% marks 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed.
Application Fee of APTET 2012 :- Rs. 300/- for only Paper-I OR only Paper-II OR Both (Paper-I & Paper-II). Candidates can pay application fee through APOnline Centers or E-Seva Centers from 31st October, 2011 to 25th November, 2011.

Admit Card/Hall Ticket: Candidates can download their Hall Tickets from the website at http://aptet.cgg.gov.in from 24.12.2011. In case any candidate could not download the Hall ticket she/he should contact the Director, APTET-January 2012, O/o the Commissioner and Director of School Education, A.P., Saifabad, Hyderabad – 04 between 10.30 AM and 5.00 PM on all working days between 28.12.2011 and 06.01.2012 in person only giving details of the journal number of the fee paid, reference number of the application submitted, a copy of the printout of the Application form and one photograph (same photograph as pasted on the application form). Request for issue of duplicate Hall Ticket will not be entertained after the examination in any case.
Fee Details: The fee towards submission of application online and for the conduct of examination is Rs.300.00. for only Paper I or only Paper II or both. Candidates shall pay the fee through APONLINE or e-Seva centres between 31.10.2011 and 25.11.2011 and submit online application at the APTET website http://aptet.cgg.gov.in between 01.11.2011 and 26.11.2011.
