Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Society, Chandigarh invites online applications from eligible candidates to fill up 653 posts of JBT teachers on contract basis.

JBT Teachers:

• No of Posts: 653 Posts
• Age limit: 21 years - 35 years.
• Pay scale: Rs. 16600/- P.M
• Educational qualification: To apply for SSA Chandigarh JBT Teachers Recruitment 2012 candidate must have one of the following educational qualification:

I. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks from a recognized Board /University and 2‐years Diploma in Elementary Education.

II. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations 2002 and 2‐years Diploma in Elementary Education

III. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks from a recognized Board/University and 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education).

IV. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks from a recognized Board / University and 4‐years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)

V. Candidates complete their graduation and 2‐years Diploma in Elementary Education can also apply for the job.

Candidate must have Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the CBSE New Delhi/State Government of Haryana/Punjab in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE and passed Punjabi and Hindi at elementary level or will have to pass the same within 2 years from the date of appointment or before clearance of probation period.

Selection process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their Academic Qualification, Professional Qualification, Higher Qualification and most importantly TET score.
